We’re excited to introduce you to a new series of books by Dr. Jason Nicholas, founder of Preventive Vet. Dr. Nicholas, better known as “Dr. J,” a very well-respected veterinarian and expert in pet safety. He has traveled the world to share his knowledge and raise awareness about pet illness and emergency prevention. Knowing what to look out for and knowing when to take your pet to the vet can help with early diagnosis and treatment, which can increase the likelihood of successful outcomes.
Their work is not all about pet health, either! They work with trainers and behaviorists in order to provide the most up-to-date information on pet behavior and training guidelines. They cover a range of topics, from the importance of socializing a new puppy to how to help your dog who is afraid of thunderstorms. Preventive Vet pairs extremely well with our own books and DVDs. Their philosophy is a lot like ours, with the primary goal of providing our pets with the tools necessary to be as stress-free as possible, no matter what life throws at them.
