Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Accurately interpret feline body language using a Green, Yellow, Red system to assess emotional states in real time.
- Apply a range of towel wrap techniques, such as the Burrito and Blanket wraps, to handle cats safely and humanely.
- Select the most appropriate handling approach for various clinical scenarios, including when to consider minimal handling or sedation.
- Describe why aversive tools (such as muzzles, cat bags, and gloves) should be avoided, according to modern feline-friendly guidelines.
- Explain the fundamentals of Cooperative Care training, supporting long-term voluntary participation when a towel wrap may be needed.
