Course Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
1. Interpret and respond appropriately to a wide range of normal feline behaviors.
2. Apply principles of learning and behavior to teach foundational skills and facilitate cooperative care.
3. Meet kittens’ developmental and environmental needs to prevent behavioral challenges.
4. Troubleshoot common kitten behaviors using positive, effective interventions.
5. Create and organize Kitten Kindergarten classes that incorporate socialization, foundational training, and prevention strategies to prepare kittens and caregivers for positive, low-stress veterinary care.
